Data-handling and vendor-disclosure review

This page explains how Credit Hunter handles account, case, payment, and dispatch data. It is a legal policy page and not legal advice.

1. Overview

Credit Hunter ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Credit Hunter web application, API services, notification workflows, and authorized mail-dispatch tooling. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account and authentication data: Email address, account identifiers, session metadata, and authentication records used to sign you in through our hosted auth provider.

Identity and case data: Information you provide to build and operate a case, including name, address, date of birth, case goals, dispute targets, uploaded reports, ID documents, proof of address, and related notes.

Payment and subscription data: Billing status, subscription identifiers, and transaction metadata from Stripe. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by Credit Hunter.

Communications data: Linked Telegram chat IDs, verification email events, support requests, and operational notifications generated by the Service.

Mail-fulfillment data: Recipient details, tracking numbers, provider message IDs, and delivery events exchanged with Lob, LetterStream, and USPS when you authorize a mailing.

AI processing inputs: Portions of the report, dispute context, and uploaded documents required to generate analyses, drafting suggestions, and structured case data.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To authenticate your account and secure access to the Service.
  • To analyze user-provided credit data, organize case records, and generate draft correspondence.
  • To process billing for the SaaS license and the separate War Chest mail-fulfillment balance.
  • To dispatch authorized mailings through Lob or LetterStream and track USPS delivery events.
  • To send verification, status, billing, and operational notifications through email and linked Telegram workflows.
  • To detect abuse, maintain audit trails, and comply with legal, tax, security, and fraud-prevention obligations.

4. Service Providers and Data Sharing

We use third-party service providers to operate the Service, including Supabase for authentication and some storage workflows, Google Cloud infrastructure, Stripe for billing, Telegram for linked notifications, Lob and LetterStream for mail fulfillment, USPS for delivery, and AI/model providers to analyze inputs and draft correspondence.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers, mail carriers, and legal recipients necessary to operate the Service, complete an authorized mailing, protect the platform, or comply with law.

5. Retention and Deletion Requests

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate active accounts, maintain dispute and billing records, secure the platform, and meet legal obligations. Some records may be retained after account closure when needed for fraud prevention, payment disputes, tax reporting, or compliance.

To request access, correction, or deletion of your data, email support@credithunter.co. We may ask you to verify identity before processing a request.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit, authenticated access controls, provider-managed infrastructure security, and operational logging to protect the Service. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
